Dificultades en el aprendizaje en niños del primero de educación general básica

Abstract

The learning of children in the first year of Basic General Education (EGB) presents various difficulties. Fine motor skills and attention and concentration are essential skills in the process of pre-writing, reading-writing and oral expression. Dyslexia and neurolinguistic problems also affect the acquisition of these skills. Auditory sequential memory influences reading comprehension and oral and written expression. Furthermore, school failure in the first cycle of the EGB is related to reading and writing. The stimulation of phonological awareness is key in the acquisition of reading and writing skills. Educational technology and brain gymnastics can help in the teaching-learning process, especially in children with mild disabilities. Inclusive education is also shown as a tool to solve learning problems in the third year of EGB. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and adequately treat learning difficulties to guarantee quality education in the first cycle of EGB.
