Indicadores de sostenibilidad en el plan de desarrollo agroturístico y ecológico del cantón Guaranda

Abstract

The Sustainability Indicators in the Agrotourism and Ecological Development Plan will help the authorities have a management tool that guides the actions that in agrotourism and ecological matters will seek its advancement in the Guaranda canton. The justification demonstrates its need, importance, impact and relevance. The Theoretical Utility includes agrotourism, ecology and tourism from the privileged sectors of the canton, and the practical Utility is to have a comprehensive plan. The general objective is to have an agrotourism and ecological development plan based on Sustainability Indicators to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Guaranda canton; supported by several specific objectives that contribute to the fulfillment of the plan. The methodological design is expressed in the Research – Action – Participation method with which the participation of society, its urban and rural sectors (members of the Canton) was achieved and with said information properly processed it is expected to respond to the problem. The legal foundation is based on legal aspects published and in force in Ecuador..
